Two people were arrested following an investigation by the Crime Reduction Team.
Shortly before 8:00 p.m. on July 16, 2026, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, conducted enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation with the arrests of two people. Following these arrests, search warrants were executed at addresses in the 100 block of St. Paul’s Place and 2800 block of Rusholme Road resulting in the following evidentiary seizures;
- $1,629.25 CAD
- 72 grams of methamphetamine
- 23.8 grams of fentanyl
- Brass knuckles
- Butterfly-style knife
- Conducted energy weapon
- Imitation firearm
- Blunt weapon
- High-value bottle of Scotch
- 1972 Chevrolet Corvette
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result, the 46-year-old Saskatoon man and 51-year-old Saskatoon woman are facing a combination of charges relating to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime.
