The Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit (ASU) played a key role in locating a stolen vehicle Monday afternoon.
On July 20, 2026 at approximately 4:40 p.m., members of the ASU observed a vehicle which had been the subject of an erratic driving complaint in the area of Avenue P South and 21st Street West. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop on the vehicle on 21st Street West between Avenue L South and Avenue M South. Five occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without further incident. An alcohol screening test was conducted on the driver of the vehicle and resulted in a fail.
The driver, a 36-year-old woman, was arrested and has been charged with Impaired Driving, Exceeding .08, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle Under $5000.
