A man is facing charges following a report of impaired driving yesterday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 30, 2026, patrol officers responded to a parking lot in the 3900 block of 8th Street East after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver. When police arrived and approached the vehicle, the driver accelerated and drove into a building.

Upon his arrest, officers observed signs of impairment, however the driver refused to comply with a breath demand.

The 36-year-old man is charged with:

• Impaired Driving
• Refusal to Comply with Demand
• Driving while Prohibited
• Breach of Court-Imposed Conditions
