One man was arrested following an investigation by the Crime Reduction Team.
Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on August 6, 2026, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, conducted enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a man in the 300 block of Tait Crescent. Following his arrest, search warrants were executed at a residence in the 300 block of Tait Crescent and on a vehicle resulting in the following evidentiary seizures;
- Lorcin Model L-380 .380 calibre handgun (prohibited)
- 50 rounds of Winchester .380 ammunition
- Imitation firearm
- 2015 Audi A4
- Rolex watch (approximate value $14,000)
- $1,668.70 CAD
- 11.3 grams of cocaine (packaged for sale)
- 36 fentanyl pills
- 86 gabapentin pills (600 mg each)
- Bear spray
- Knives (x2)
- Scale, vacuum sealer, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result, the 32-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with 12 offences related to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime.
