One woman was arrested following a report of a firearm being pointed at a group of people.

At around 12:30 a.m. on August 13, 2026, police were called to the area of 21st Street East and 3rd Avenue South for a weapons investigation; it was reported that a woman had pointed a firearm at a group of people. Upon arrival, witnesses identified the woman to officers and she was arrested without incident. A search of her property located an imitation firearm.

As a result, the 36-year-old Saskatoon woman was charged with Assault With a Weapon, Breaching Court-Imposed Conditions, and several firearms-related offences.
