One male youth is facing charges following a weapons call over the weekend where bear spray was located and seized by police.

At approximately 11:10 p.m. on August 14, 2026, police were called to a business in the 100 block of Gibson Bend for a weapons call where it was reported that a male walked in with a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located the male inside the business where he was arrested without further incident. The male was found to be in possession of a can of bear spray.

As a result, the 15-year-old male youth has been charged with Possession of a Weapon (Bear Spray) and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
