Saskatoon Police responded to a call for service on Sunday night where a delivery driver was bear sprayed.

On September 6, 2026 at approximately 8:35 p.m., police were called to a business in the 1100 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a recent bear spray incident.

Police arrived on scene and located a 42-year-old man who had been the victim of the bear spray. Officers learned that the delivery driver was delivering food to a residence in the 100 block of Avenue T South when the male suspect refused to pay for the food and discharged bear spray at the victim.
