Only one 30-year-old man was arrested from the residence without incident; not two as was previously reported.
The three accused are two men, age 23 and 30, and one 30-year-old woman.
Three people are facing a combination of 40 charges following the conclusion of an illicit drug and firearms investigation.
Shortly before 10:00 p.m. on September 11, 2026, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Unit, Tactical Support Unit, and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, initiated enforcement action in an illicit drug and firearms investigation with the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Schmeiser Bend. Two 30-year-old men were arrested from the residence without incident; a 23-year-old man attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by a police service dog and subsequently arrested. Warrants have also been requested for the arrest of a 30-year-old woman.
As a result of investigation, police seized;
- 2x 9mm Glock handguns (restricted)
- Century Arms semi-automatic rifle (prohibited)
- 5x over capacity magazines
- Assorted ammunition
- $326,490 CAD
- $1,460 USD
- 2025 Hyundai Tucson
- 7,789.99 grams of soft cocaine
- 9,400.22 grams of methamphetamine
- 760x Dilaudid 8 pills.
All three have been charged with drug, weapons, and proceeds of crime offences.
