A 13-year-old female was arrested following a report of an intoxicated person on a city bus.

At around 5:30 p.m. on September 26, 2026, police were notified of an incoming city bus to a depot in the 200 block of 23rd Street East with an intoxicated person on board. Upon arrival, officers observed a female believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant causing a disturbance outside of the bus. As officers approached, the female attempted to conceal a bottle in her pants. Through continued investigation, officers also observed what was believed to be a firearm next to the bottle. The female was arrested without incident and found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.

As a result, the 13-year-old female was charged with Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace and Unauthorized Carry of a Concealed Weapon.
