A woman from Onion Lake, Saskatchewan and a Saskatoon man are facing charges following a report of suspicious activity involving weapons on the weekend.

At approximately 2:50 p.m., October 4, 2026, police were called to the 300 block of Douglas Crescent. Four people matching suspect descriptions were spotted attempting to flee in a Jeep Cherokee. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and searched the vehicle and its occupants. They located a sawed-off rifle, a baton and a taser.

A 23-year-old man is now facing four firearm related offences. A 25-year-old woman is facing charges including; Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (x2) and Carrying a Concealed Weapon (x2).
