Arrest - Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit Investigation - Watrous

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Watrous, SK man with child exploitation related offences.

On December 10, 2025, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Watrous, SK. Electronic devices were examined at scene and also seized by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, 68-year old Myles Deitner of Watrous, SK was charged on February 10, 2026 with the following:

  • Possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (x2)

Deitner was released on court-imposed conditions. His next court date is on March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
