Two male teens, ages 15 and 16 are facing a number of charges following two armed robberies.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., February 13, 2026, Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive. An employee reported being threatened by two unknown males armed with a machete. The suspects stole cash and liquor before fleeing the scene. The staff member was not physically injured. At approximately 11:50 p.m., February 13, 2026, Patrol Officers responded to a report of an assault and robbery at a home in the 3400 block of Fairlight Drive. A 22 year old female victim reported being beaten by two males before her cell phone was stolen. The two males fled the scene. Officers were able determine that the suspects matched the descriptions of the two males involved in the earlier armed robbery. They were arrested shortly after midnight following a foot chase in the area of the 200 block of Langevin Crescent. The victim was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The two males are now facing charges of Robbery (x4). The 16 year old is also facing charges of Breach of Release Conditions and Obstruction.
