Police are investigating following an attempted robbery yesterday.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on February 22, 2026, police were called to a business in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a report of an attempted robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that multiple men armed with various weapons were attempting to rob the business when a confrontation with an employee ensued; the suspects then fled prior to police arrival without stealing anything. A police service dog was used to conduct a search for the suspects; however, they were not located.
