Three people were arrested following a report of a robbery yesterday.
At around 12:15 a.m. on February 22, 2026, police were called to an apartment building in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue North for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been smoking a cigarette outside the building when she was approached by three unknown persons who forced her back into the building and demanded she go to her suite. Once inside, the victim and her roommate were confined to a room while the suspects robbed the suite and stole the keys to her vehicle. The suspects then fled in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was located nearby a short time later and the suspects were observed by police getting into a cab. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the cab and arrested the suspects without further incident.
As a result, two women, age 31 and 32, and a 26-year-old man are facing an assortment of charges relating to kidnapping, unlawful confinement, break and enter, robbery, and theft of a motor vehicle.
