A man is facing charges after police responded to a weapons-related call on Friday afternoon.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., February 20, 2026, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of 20th Street West and Avenue O South after it was reported that a male was seen at a bus stop in possession of two knives. When police arrived, officers learned the male had boarded a bus. As they continued to investigate, they also boarded the bus and located the suspect, who was brandishing two knives. He was taken into custody without incident, and upon his arrest, found to be concealing a third knife in his pants.

A 50-year-old male is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x3), Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
