Duties:
- Prepares video disclosure, including the accurate vetting and redaction of Body Worn Camera footage and other types of video evidence as required.
- Performs various tasks related to the video evidence disclosure process, which includes reviewing requests, researching databases, querying the Records Management System (RMS), and locating and extracting original video(s) from the Digital Evidence Management System (Axon Evidence).
- Receives and processes video and other forms of digital evidence.
- Receives communication from members regarding disclosure and prioritizes the most urgent requests.
- Performs other related duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a business college, or related program.
- One-year diversified office experience.
- Knowledge and experience in case management and court disclosure would be an asset.
- Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Proven accurate alpha and numeric data entry.
- Ability to communicate effective in English, both orally and in writing.
- Well-developed time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to interact diplomatically, tactfully and confidentially with all levels of the Service and the public.
- Knowledge of appropriate storage and destruction guidelines for record-keeping is an asset.
- Knowledge of policing, law enforcement, or a court related environment is an asset.
- Ability to pass the Saskatoon Police Service security clearance process.
Hours of Work:
Shift work and evening work may be involved.
Salary:
$54,379.68 to $59,953.20 per annum (2025 rates)
