Domestic Violence Unit

The Domestic Violence Unit consists of two Sergeants responsible for investigating select reports of domestic violence involving intimate partners and reviews all domestic-related occurrences, whether or not charges are laid. Domestic violence can consist of any use of physical or sexual force, uttering threats of death or bodily harm and criminal harassment. Investigators works in partnership with Victim Services and domestic violence workers. Together, they assist victims with the reporting process, as well as through court procedures.
