A man was arrested at a business yesterday when he was found carrying multiple weapons.

At approximately 1:10 p.m., February 18, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue South for a report of a wanted person. Upon arrival, the wanted person, a 29 year old man, was observed attempting to hide his face and flee. He refused to comply with Police commands and was arrested following a brief altercation. He was found to be concealing a meat cleaver in his pants and a large hatchet inside of his backpack.

A 29 year old Saskatoon man is charged with Carrying A Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Breach of Probation (x2) and Breach of Undertaking.
