Saskatoon Police are reminding the public of the importance of reporting suspicious persons and activity following a number of fires that occurred within Central Division recently.
Between January 27 - February 18, 2020, there were 28 fires reported across three distinct geographical areas of Central Division (see attached image). Twenty of those fires involved dumpsters, garbage and recycling bins, and of those, 12 took place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
There were no reported injuries in any of these incidents. If anyone has information on these suspicious fires, please call SPS at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The Saskatoon Police Service also wishes to remind the public of the importance of reporting suspicious activity and persons in their neighbourhood.
