One man was arrested early this morning after Police received two separate calls about a break and enter and a suspicious person.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., March 17, 2020, Patrol members were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Avenue P North. A woman reported that she had observed a man rummaging through her vehicle which was parked inside of her garage. She shouted at the man, prior to him fleeing the scene. Shortly after officers arrived, another call came in that a man was seen attempting to enter parked vehicles about a block away from the initial call. Patrol officers attended to the area of Avenue Q North and Rusholme Road and located the male suspect believed to be responsible for the break and enter. He was arrested without incident. Police located a pry bar concealed up the suspect’s sleeve. He also had other break and enter tools in his backpack.
