A man is facing charges after a reported break and enter to a home earlier this morning.

At approximately 4:15 a.m, March 17, 2020, Police were called to a residence in the 10 block of Capilano Drive after neighbours observed someone inside a home they knew to be unoccupied. As Patrol was responding, the Air Support Unit observed an individual walking in the area with two bags. The male then began to run and was seen jumping over a fence and cutting through bushes before crossing Ravine Drive. He was quickly located by Patrol and taken into custody without further incident. He was found to be in possession of a knife and several pieces of mail.

A 23-year-old man is charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Dangerous Weapon. (Court Info # 991124751).
