Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a suspicious package yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., March 19, 2020, Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at a residence in the 200 block of Haviland Crescent. As a result of initial information, the SPS Explosives Disposal Unit also responded to the scene. Technicians utilized the robot to move the package to a nearby parking lot where they rendered it safe.

This incident is not believed to be random and there was no risk to public safety.
