A man and woman are facing drug and weapons charges after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle yesterday morning.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., March 19, 2020, a suspicious vehicle was reported to Police in the parking lot in the 100 block of Acadia Drive. When Patrol arrived, they located a man and a woman inside the vehicle. They also located several weapons including knives and pepper spray, methamphetamine, morphine and hydromorphone and other drug paraphernalia.

Through investigation, the vehicle was confirmed to have been stolen out of Prince Albert, SK.

The 40-year-old man and 35-year-old woman are each facing charges of; Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x2), Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine, Morphine and Hydromorphone.
