The Saskatoon Police received a call on March 28, 2020 at 10:32a.m. of a person seen jumping into the river from the Sid Buckwold Bridge. Members of the Saskatoon Fire Department deployed their rescue boat and were able to pull a male out of the river. The male was transported to the hospital by Medavie Health Services in serious condition.

His condition is unknown at this time.
