The Saskatoon Police Service received a call of a male that had broken into a garage in the 3100blk Calder Crescent on April 9, 2020 at 2:15a.m..

The homeowner chased the male suspect away. In his attempt to escape, the suspect lost both of his shoes. Patrol officers arrived in the area along with the Saskatoon K-9 Unit. The suspect was quickly apprehended without incident in the 3300blk of Calder Crescent hiding in another yard.

A 24 year old male is facing a charge of break and enter and was also breaching a court condition for curfew and will attend court this afternoon.
