A man and a woman are facing a number of drug trafficking charges following a vehicle stop last weekend.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., April 12, 2020, Police observed a suspicious vehicle near Circle Drive and Airport Drive. A traffic stop was conducted and a baggy of cocaine was observed by officers. The two male and female occupants of the vehicle were arrested without incident. Upon searching the man, officers located baggies of cocaine and methamphetamine and a large sum of cash. A further search of the vehicle was conducted and more cash was located along with two rifles, a hand gun, swords, an imitation firearm and various unmarked pills.

Search warrants were later executed on two vehicles and a residence in the 2400 block of Melrose Ave. There, officers located a conducted energy weapon and ammunition.

A 34 year old man and a 36 year old woman, both from Saskatoon, are charged with Possession of Methamphetamine/Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime and numerous weapons-related offences.
