One woman was arrested this morning in connection to a house fire.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., April 16, 2020, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a house fire in the 1800 block of 20th Street West. Officers assisted members of the Saskatoon Fire Department in ensuring residents had exited the multi-unit dwelling. All tenants were removed from the building uninjured. Through investigations, Police learned that the fire had been intentionally set by a resident in a bathroom. She was arrested on scene without incident.
A 32 year old Saskatoon woman is charged with Arson with Disregard for Human Life.
Fire investigators do not believe this fire is linked to any previously reported suspicious fires currently under investigation by the SPS.
