Saskatoon Police are investigating after a person was spotted floating in the South Saskatchewan River this afternoon.

At approximately 12:45 p.m., April 17, 2020, a witness notified police that they saw what appeared to be a deceased person. Police arrived on-scene and confirmed the male was deceased. Officers are continuing to investigate.
