A 32 year old woman and a 38 year old man are facing a number of charges following a break and enter and an evade police incident.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. April 20, 2020 Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Frobisher Crescent. The caller witnessed an unknown woman and an unknown man inside the residence. The suspects then fled the scene in the complainant's Suzuki SUV. The vehicle was spotted a few minutes later by officers at 51st Street and Warman Road. A traffic stop was attempted however the driver refused to comply and traveled first on Assiniboine Drive and then north on Warman Road, at one point colliding with a police vehicle. Officers discontinued their pursuit due to public safety concerns however the vehicle was located several minutes later abandoned on Coppermine Crescent. At the same time a resident of the 300 block of Assiniboine Drive reported an unknown man and a woman had entered his residence through an unlocked door and were hiding from officers. Upon arrival, Police located the two and brought them into custody. The male was found to be in possession of identification belonging to other people. There were no injuries during the incident.,
The two are facing charges including; Break and Enter, Evade Police, Dangerous Driving and Breach of Court Conditions.
