Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., traffic will be restricted in front of Police HQ on 25th Street, as we honour and pay tribute to our fallen sister, Cst. Heidi Stevenson.

The pandemic has made gathering to celebrate her as we normally would impossible. As a result, the SPS has organized a short ceremony to pay tribute while still adhering to the Public Health Orders.

Police also ask that our community to keep Cst. Stevenson and the other victims in their hearts and minds, but not to attend this ceremony due to current Health Orders.

Traffic restrictions are expected to be lifted by 2:30 p.m.
