Shooting - 1300 Block Ave B.N.

A 32 year old man, wanted in connection with a shooting in April, has been taken into custody.

The Saskatoon man was located on May 29, 2020, at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue M South.  Members of the Guns & Gangs Unit made the arrest with assistance from the Air Support Unit and Patrol Officers.  At the time of his arrest, the 32 year old man was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

He is now facing seven charges including Assault With a Weapon, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Saskatoon Police are no longer at the scene of an earlier investigation in the 1300 block of Ave B.N.

This is believed to be an isolated incident stemming from and escalated domestic dispute. No weapon was located and there have been no arrests. Police continue to look for a 32 year old male in connection with the incident.

Saskatoon Police members are currently on the scene of a shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Ave. B.N

At approximately 4:20 p.m. officers were called to a residence where a 14 year old male received what are believed to be minor injuries related to a shot being fired inside the home. He has been transported to hospital.

Police are currently searching the area for a 32 year old male who is believed to be in possession of a firearm.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area at this time. The suspect and victim are know to each other.
