Two men, ages 30 and 50, both from Saskatoon are facing more than 45 charges following a report of suspicious activity in the 2100 block of St. Andrews Avenue.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. April 28, 2020, Police received a report of the activity involving a Jeep Compass parked in the area. Upon arrival officers located the vehicle nearby and conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Herman Avenue. Two men were inside the vehicle along with open liquor. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers located a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, a machete, bear spray, a starter pistol, a concrete nail gun, a small quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine, various rounds of ammunition and several pieces of identity documentation belonging to other people.
The men are facing charges including; Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, several counts of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Possession of Identity Documentation, and several firearm related charges.
