The Saskatoon Police Service was dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Pendygrasse Road for a weapons call at 11:11 a.m.

A male had entered the business with a bat and started to damage property within the store. He threatened the employee and made off with some property. Police caught up with the man a short distance away.

The man failed to listen to Police commands and tried to flee. A Conductive Energy Weapon was deployed, however was not effective. The male fled and was arrested nearby.

An 18 year old man is charged with Threats to cause death or bodily harm, theft under $5000, Mischief and Causing a disturbance. He will be in court tomorrow.
