Three Saskatoon women are facing charges following a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of cocaine and methamphetamine.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., May 9, 2020, Patrol officers spotted a suspicious vehicle at Confederation Drive and Confederation Place and began to follow it. The driver of the Dodge Shadow, began to drive in an evasive manner before coming to a stop in an alleyway off Palmer Place. A search of the women and the car resulted in officers locating $530 in cash, 7.76 grams of cocaine, 6.94 grams of methamphetamine, nine packages of shatter, 50.12 grams of cannabis, along with cells phones and drug paraphernalia.
All three women, ages 23, 27 and 30, are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling It.
