At approximately 12:40 p.m., May 19, 2020, Saskatoon Police were notified of a woman in distress on the University Bridge. As officers were responding, the woman was observed entering into the water from the bridge. The Saskatoon Fire Department retrieved the woman from the water by boat. Medavie Health Services transported the 27 year old woman to hospital with minor injuries.
