A 28 year old Mont Nebo, SK man is facing charges following a report of suspicious activity over the weekend.
At approximately 4:15 a.m., May 23, 2020, Police received a report of a man on a bicycle checking car doors in the 200 block of Pinehouse Drive. Members of the Air Support Unit were able to spot the male from the air and direct Patrol officers to the location. Upon arrival the male refused to stop for Police and a lengthy bicycle and foot pursuit took place in the area. Officers were able to bring the man into custody in the 600 block of Tobin Way. A backpack in the male's possession contained a baggie with 13.42 grams of methamphetamine and identification belonging to another person.
The male is now facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Identity Documents. He was also found to be wanted on a warrant from Prince Albert.
