Two men were arrested in two separate incidents yesterday where it was reported they were in possession of firearms.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., June 2, 2020, Patrol officers responded to a report of a man walking in the area of Eastlake Avenue and 12th Street East carrying what appeared to be two handguns. The suspect was arrested and found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged with Possession.

Then, shortly after 1:00 p.m., Patrol officers attended to the area of 22nd Street and Avenue K after it was reported that a man was walking down the street carrying what appeared to be a handgun. Upon arrest, the suspect was believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine and arrested for public intoxication.

The firearms both men were in possession of were all found to be imitations.
