Two people were arrested last night after officers observed a firearm in a car.

At 10:50 p.m., June 7, 2020, members on Patrol observed a passenger inside of a blue 2005 Pontiac Pursuit holding a firearm. A traffic stop was conducted at 22nd Street East and Pacific Avenue. The female passenger was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and open liquor was located. Both she and the male driver were arrested from the vehicle. Three imitation firearms and a knife were located inside. A second knife was located in the possession of the female.

A 35 year old woman from Wilkie, SK is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x5) and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

A 33 year old Saskatoon man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x4).
