The Serious Assault Unit is investigating after a stabbing involving multiple people was reported this morning.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., June 8, 2020, Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 800 block of 4th Avenue North. Upon arrival, multiple people were located inside the home, two of whom were suffering from stab wounds. A 22 year old woman and a 21 year old man were transported to hospital with, what are believed to be minor injuries. Officers learned that an altercation had occurred between two men and one woman who were all known to one and other. All three were stabbed. One of the men, a 27 year old, was struck in the head with a baseball bat prior to fleeing on foot.
At approximately 5:15 a.m., Patrol members responded to a reported injured person at a park in the 100 block of Research Road. The 27 year old man was located in the park and transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He is facing two counts of Aggravated Assault.
