Members of the Guns and Gangs Unit are investigating following a report of a forcible confinement and assault.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., June 8, 2020, Police were called to Royal University Hospital where a 20 year old woman was receiving treatment for serious but non life-threatening injuries. It was reported that she had been held in a residence and assaulted by several people over a period of time. She was later located in the 700 block of Avenue I South by a good Samaritan who transported her to hospital.
