The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred at 8:19 this morning.

A female was walking in the alley in the 1100 block of Av W N when she was approached by a male. The male asked for her property. The female refused and the male produced a knife. There was a short struggle and the female received a minor injury to her hand. She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services for assessment.

The male fled the scene. He is described as wearing all black clothing.
