A woman is facing numerous charges after she attempted to break into a garage yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., June 17, 2020, Police responded to the 300 block of Avenue P South after it was reported that a woman had threatened a homeowner after she tried to break into their garage. Officers located the woman and took her into custody. She was found to be in possession of a knife and carrying a backpack in which officers located methamphetamine and an identity document of another person. She was also found to have other stolen items on her that were able to be returned to their rightful owners.
The 44-year-old woman is facing charges of Break and Enter, Utter Threats, Carry Concealed Weapon, Possession of Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Identity Documents not Belonging to her and Possession of Methamphetamine.
