A 27 year old man and a 22 year old woman, both from Saskatoon, are facing dozens of charges following an investigation by members of the Guns and Gangs Unit.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., June 19, 2020, members of the unit with assistance from the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Clancy Drive. Inside they located the man and woman along with a rifle, four replica handguns, ammunition, approximately $8300 in cash and 73 grams of methamphetamine with packaging.
The male was also linked to an incident in May in which a Patrol Officer was conducting a traffic stop of a taxi cab when the male passenger inside fled the scene on foot. Police did not locate the male at the time but did find a backpack inside the cab which contained 100 grams of methamphetamine and $7000.
The male and female are facing charges including; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime and more than 15 firearm and weapons offences.
