A woman is facing charges after attempting to assault people with a tree branch yesterday morning.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m., June 22, 2020, Patrol officers responded to the 100 block of Avenue O South after reports that a woman was attempting to assault multiple people with a tree branch. Upon Police arrival, she kicked one of the responding officers before being taken into custody. She was also found to be in possession of three baggies of methamphetamine.

A 40-year-old woman is charged with Assault, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Probation.
