A 34 year old man is facing a number of charges following a report of a possible impaired driver last night.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., Jun 23, 2020, Police responded to the report in the area of Circle Drive and 11th Street West. The officer located a Toyota Rav 4 at the location. It had stopped at the side of the road. Upon finding evidence of impairment a roadside test was administered and found the driver to be impaired by drugs. A search of the vehicle located a sawed-off shotgun, a knife, cash, cell phones and a bottle of gabapentin pills.

The man is facing charges including Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and eight firearm related charges. Additional charges are pending.
