Three people are facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit.
On June 25, 2020, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted, by members of the SPS Drug Unit, in the 3300 block of Centennial Drive. Officers had observed activity consistent with drug trafficking. A man and a woman were taken into custody, without incident, and cocaine and cash were seized.
As a result of the traffic stop, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 100 block of Tait Crescent, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit. A man was arrested from inside the residence and more cash and cocaine were seized.
In total, SPS recovered 7.7 grams of crack cocaine and over $3600 in cash.
A 39 year old woman from Saskatoon is facing charges of Possession of Cocaine.
A 31 year old man from Surrey, BC is facing charges related to the Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
A 34 year old man from Alberta is facing charges related to the Trafficking of Cocaine.
