Two people have been arrested after fleeing from Police early this morning.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., July 9, 2020, Police were patrolling in the 2200 block of Northridge Drive when they observed a truck parked in an alley near the fenced compound of a business. Officers attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. It was eventually stopped in the 1200 block of Avenue C North after the successful deployment of stop sticks. Two people were taken into custody and found to be in possession of stolen cheques and identity documents. The suspects was also found in possession of a set of keys that was determined to be from the business compound where Police had initially observed the vehicle.

A 30-year-old male is charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Evade Police, Break and Enter and Possession of Break and Enter Instruments.

A 36-year-old male is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000, Break and Enter and Possession fo Break and Enter Instruments. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
