Saskatoon Police have one person in custody following a high-risk traffic stop this morning.

At approximately 7:00 a.m., July 13, 2020, the SPS was notified by Warman RCMP that a red Ford half ton truck was traveling into Saskatoon. The truck was connected to an attempted break and enter in Langham, SK. A member of the SPS Canine Unit attempted to stop the vehicle as it reached Saskatoon, however the driver refused to stop. A tire deflation device was used and successfully disabled the vehicle. It came to a stop outside a hotel at Avenue C and Circle Drive North. Three people were taken into custody. A male driver is now facing a charge of Evade Police. The RCMP are continuing to conduct their investigation into the attempted break and enter.
