A 29 year old man is facing a number of charges following a report of a man assaulting occupants of a home in the 100 block of Avenue R North this morning.

At approximately 4:20 a.m., July 13, 2020, SPS Communications received a 911 call reporting an unknown man inside the house. The man was armed with bear spray and assaulting occupants.

Upon arrival officers located an injured man lying in front of the home. The 26 year old man was transported to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries. Inside, officers found that two women, ages 20 and 21, had also been assaulted and the interior of the home had been damaged. They also located the male suspect and took him into custody. He was in possession of bear spray.

He is now facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault (x2), Mischief, Possession of a Weapon, Uttering Threats and breach of court conditions.
