A 38 year old female is in custody following a stabbing in the 1400 Block of Avenue E N.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., July 13, 2020, Patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1400 Block of Avenue E North. Upon arrival, a 34 year old female was located suffering from two stab wounds. She reported that she had been stabbed by two females, known to her.

Patrol Units responding located one of the females who was found in possession of two throwing knives. She was taken into custody and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Breach of a Court Order. The other 48 year old female is still outstanding and a warrant has been requested for her arrest.

The 38 year old female will appear in Provincial Court tomorrow morning.
